Delhi CM Launches 181 Women Helpline Number through DOT

DOT Released Women Helpline Number 181

Admist Nationwide Uproar over Brutal GANG RAPE a 23 years old Paramedical Student from Dehradun was alleged raped on sunday night in a moving bus. Delhi CM (Shelia Dikshit) has announced 181 Women Helpline Number. The Three digit Women Helpline Number announced the Telecom Ministry on Monday. Delhi Chif Minister requested to Telecom Minister through allot 3 digit Phone Number for Protect Women Helpline Number. The Number working in India at any Location.

This is the first Three digit Phone Number to have been allotted in two years. Women Helpline Number 181 Protests across all states are being seen demanding speedy justice accused in Delhi Gang Rape. The 181 Women Helpline Number was more easier to remember every one.

Through DOT has limited resource in respect of 3 digit number, yet within Two Hours of the request 181 Helpline Number has been allotted.
